On August 15, 2024, KM/Al-Azhar Vidyalaya,

a prominent educational institution in the city, successfully hosted a dental clinic for its students. The event aimed to promote oral health awareness and provide essential dental care to the school community.

A team of qualified dentists from Kalmunai Ashraf Memorial Hospital  volunteered their time and expertise to offer a range of dental services, including check-ups, cleanings, and fluoride treatments. The clinic was well-attended by students of all ages, who eagerly took advantage of the opportunity to receive professional dental care.

In addition to providing dental services, the clinic also conducted educational sessions to teach students about proper oral hygiene practices. Students learned about the importance of brushing their teeth twice a day, flossing regularly, and avoiding sugary drinks and snacks.
